Who is the programme for ?
This programme is aimed at a variety of people who wish to advanced their musical ideas and techniques within digital recording and those who wish to advance to Higher Education.
Entry to the programme ?
No formal qualifications are required although an understanding of midi-conversation and sequence operations are required.
When will the programme start and how long will it take ?
The programme will start in January and April.
The school will run for 3 hours per week and is time tabled for Thursday 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm.
What will I study ?
Students will study the following;
Digital Recording
Advanced Sequence Operations
MIDI Conversions/Applications
Digital Processors
Audio Engineering
Sampling Techniques
Synchronisation
Recording Techniques
How is it assessed ?
Each module is assessed independently. Assessment is continuous along with practical projects and an essay.
Future prospects ?
You may wish to further your interest in this area through Higher Education programmes or employment within the music
How do I apply ?
Complete an application form and return it to Student Services, you will then be asked to attend College for an interview. Call Student Services to make an appointment with a Guidance Officer.
