Here at Digital Nation, we love surfing the web (and I've got the large phonebill to prove it). Anything you want music-wise, its out there; information on the latest music hardware, demos of the latest music software. Music shareware and freeware, free plug-ins the list goes on and on. Anyway dont just hang around here, get your laughing gear round some of our favourites:

Propellerheads. Home of the fantastic Rebirth program (as used on the Digital Nation CD)

Steinberg. This is where Cubase lives, used by LOADS of people making music.

Spirit The makers of excellent mixers (I've got one!)

MP3.COM The home of MP3's. Everything you need is here, players, music info, the lot.

Wavcentral. Looking for audiofiles ? You could do worse than to try here for some oddball stuff.

Samplenet. Part of Futurenet, the web publishing division of Future Publishing home of such esteemed publications as The Mix and Future Music. You can get some groovy samples here too.

Futurenet. Futurenet itself. Find out what's going on in the world of music tech, and beyond.

Synthmuseum. Pay homage to the fantastic analogue synths of yesteryear, we are not worthy...

Akai. The guvners when it comes to sampling. Go here and drool over their new S5000 and S6000 and if they're giving any away for free, tell them to bung one my way.

Synthzone Synthzone is an excellent general MIDI, synth and sound resource page. They also have a handy Cubase links page with some great links to sites offering tips, hints, advice and gosh...free plug ins.

Maz Sound Page. A fantastic collection of free and nearly free music software including soft synths, samplers, trackers, CD rippers the list goes on and on.

There will be loads more top links very soon indeed Indeed, if you'd like to nominate your own favourite link (or if there is a link here that doesn't work) then by all means send us an email.
