'Delphic Blur' is one of four tracks submitted to Digital Nation by Kristian Blacow who is also known as 'Black Cow'.

"Basically, the stuff I do derives from early nineties stuff, Polygon Window, AFX, Joyrex, LFO, Autechre etc, but keeping a keen eye on todays drum and bass scene - Dillinja, Photek, Squarepusher and Chocolate Weasel."

"Experimental beats tie these producers together and I fell that I am pushing in the same direction (hopefully). I've always had a preference for analogue drum sounds and I do intend on buying an 808, 606 or CR78".

" The track was produced using a Roland MC-303 Groovebox which texturally limits the sound, working with only a limited amount of samples, but having this limitation can also be a help, focusing ideas and stuff".

"Recently I've been working with Cubase, an S950 and a JP8000, and I'm going to find it really hard going back to the Groovebox's sequencer, but there's no doubt that it is a top piece of gear".
